Gower Brewery were a local brewery based in the Gower Peninsula, South Wales. They’re know very well locally but wanted to expand their horizons across into the West of England and beyond. With a cult-like following form locals and being stocked in well-established chains across the West, Gower Brewery needed to improve their online presence to help with brand awareness and, visibility.
We worked with Gower Brewery on coming up with a slick, modern website which was easy to use and order by their target audience, while having the fundamentals to scale to a larger operation when word got out.
The brewery has some unique beers and ales and we wanted to make sure people could order a selection of them at one time, without getting a case at a time, so we built out a custom bundle-builder which is intuitive to use and easy for fulfilment. Along with this we made sure a subscription service was tied it, again being intuitive to use and easy to order as we want to make the site as accessible as it can be for their target market.
Other custom functionality included a ‘find a stockist’ interactive map which pulls the Google Maps API along with a JSON array of locations and sets a marker down. You can search with Google’s Map Search API to find your local stockist and even get distances and directions to your local stockist.
The brewery also have a selection of vehicles which can be hired out as well as their taproom and Pieminister collaborative restaurant. These all needed to be highlighted so custom pages are made for each.
As a result of the website build, Gower Brewery are scaling at an impressive rate with their organic search traffic, order numbers and average order value. We help Gower Brewery on a monthly basis with website updates, product launches and SEO.

Completely bespoke subscription service
To keep a steady stream of customers coming back we worked together to come up with two subscription pages.
One page for home, customers can order a case of two of beer and stock up their fridge.
The second for offices, being that it’s low ABV and you can knock a few back in the office on a Friday afternoon. It’s a perfect combination for Team leaders and managers to treat their teams a the end of a week.
