How long does a website actually take? +
Launch sites go live in 14 days. Studio sites go live in 14 days once your brand assets (logo, colours, fonts) are in. Commerce (Shopify) builds usually take 4 to 6 weeks. Bespoke timelines are set in the quote. You get a fixed delivery date in the quote.
Do I own the site? What about hosting? +
You own everything. Code, design files, content, domain, analytics. Hosting is yours to choose, we recommend Vercel, Netlify, or your existing host. We can manage hosting via our care plan if you'd rather not think about it.
What if I want to edit the site myself later? +
If self-editing matters to you, we'll build on Framer, WordPress, or Shopify, all CMS-friendly. If speed and SEO matter more than self-editing, we'll build on Astro or Next.js and offer a care plan for content updates.
Will this work better than my current site? +
Every site is built to bring in more enquiries, and we track them from launch so you can see whether it does. A build on its own doesn't come with an enquiry guarantee. That comes with Fill My Diary (£799/mo + VAT: care plan, local SEO and Google Ads management): a minimum number of qualified enquiries in 90 days, sized at kickoff, or we work free until you hit it. It is never cash back, is capped at 3 additional months, needs the fair-play conditions and has a 6-month minimum term.
Can you migrate my old site without losing rankings? +
Yes. Full URL redirect mapping, schema preservation, content audit, and a soft cutover to staging before going live. Every old URL is mapped to its new home before launch.
What's actually included vs. extra? +
Included: design, copy support, build, hosting setup, SEO foundations, analytics, conversion tracking, 14 days post-launch support. Extra (quoted separately): photography, video, paid advertising, ongoing SEO retainers, complex API integrations.
